With PSM being wholly family owned, we do not answer to or have any affiliation to larger Owners’ Corporation Management Companies or franchises – the buck stops with us. We often put relationships in front of profits and go the extra mile because we can.

We currently manage approximately 75 strata complexes around Victoria, both commercial and residential ranging from 5-90 units.

What is an Owners Corporation?

An owners corporation is a legal entity that has to be created when land is sub-divided with multiple dwellings but there is common property within this subdivision.

This common property usually includes internal driveways, footpaths, visitor parking areas, common area gardens and in some instances, apartment foyers, underground carparks etc.

All dwellings associated to this sub-division automatically become a member of this owners corporation and automatically own a portion of this common area via their lot liability.

These common areas need to be covered for public liability and also need to be maintained.

An owners corporation operates like any other business. It can make rules which are binding on the corporation, owners and tenants regarding the use of common property and the lots, providing that the rules do not contravene legislation governing strata titles or other laws.
